PLAYING THE 'BIG GAME' TO SOAR ABOVE DAY TO DAY HURTS

PLAYING THE BIG GAME A key element of my journey to be more authentic has involved having the courage to be more vulnerable. Recently, I expressed my vulnerability to some one close only to feel ridiculed. Rather than receiving empathy, I felt judged and even ridiculed. Last week, the verdant and rainy drive from Pune to Panchgani provided a great setting for some soul searching. I brought this issue to up with   Syd – an amazing guy who I met barely a year ago, but feel a deep connection.   We spoke on various issues about our lives…. If this resonates with you, wonderful….. SANJAY - So tell me, how do you handle rejection when you are being vulnerable but the other simply is not sensitive to it, or worse scoffs at you? "DON'T AIM FOR PERFECTION AND SPOIL IT......" ......Just finished a coaching session with a client who quoted this line. His teacher had said this when he was painting a portrait! And yup, th...

Thank you Pradeep for this opportunity. The idyllic setting provided a magnificent nurturing environment for pausing, reflecting, learning and integrating valuable insights about ourselves as we wrapped our head and hears around the four frames that the Devdutt describes so well in his book. The next day, as I was walking the streets of Bangalore, I came across these two dogs....and wham....one very key lesson of the deep dive came truly alive.....I AM I, YOU ARE YOU.... AND WE ARE TOGETHER.... Indeed, in supporting the other lies my growth......The lesson is slowly sinking in......
