Connecting to a Higher Frequency





For years now, my life has largely been spent on flights. Yesterday for the first time, I messaged my wife the number of the amazingly efficient and courteous admin manager of PSI (Alpha Panda). Alpha has been supporting me for years, but only yesterday did I pass her number on.

I typically arrive just in time for most flights but since someone else had made arrangements, they had asked the taxi to come early. But the taxi was half an hour late. Typically, I would have been curt and made my displeasure known to the driver. Maybe it was being tired after a late night combined with knowing that there was still plenty of time, that I was polite with him. Glad I was….

At the Delhi airport I got off the taxi and a few steps before the entrance, realized to my horror that I had left my phone behind. I frantically looked for the car, but it was gone! I waited for about 10 minutes hoping that the driver would find the phone and return. No luck.

I rushed to the Indigo airline sales counter and received amazing service from the staff. He not only lent me his phone, but suggested I call my phone hoping that the driver would hear it. No luck again. Then I remembered……I called my wife and asked her to reach Alpha. (For those who know the reference, it was like calling the ‘Wolf’ in Pulp Fiction). Suffice to say, the driver was contacted and the phone returned to me five minutes before the flight counter closed!

I am writing this piece two hours after this incident and am still AMAZED….

o   What made me think of and send Alpha’s number to my wife only yesterday?
o   What made me reach the airport well in time allowing for just the time needed for the driver to be tracked down and return with phone?
o   What made me be polite and not express my displeasure with the driver for being late?
o   His name is Saroj, but the only reason I actually recalled his name was because it sounded like “Suraj” – the name of my parent’s home (a combination of both their names) and also my nephew’s name. Knowing the name helped Alpha track him down faster.
o   And then was it just luck that I got great support from the airline staff? Wait a minute, his name is Niranjan…..that’s also the name of the Guru at the Bihar School of Yoga that I have been going to for over five years now…..…..

I can see my dear friend Divya shaking her head and saying  “You still need more reasons to believe Sanjay????”

Not anymore!!! At the very least, I know that I somehow got connected to a higher frequency…a higher consciousness when I sent Alpha’s number along. But it’s clearly more than that…..Maybe this “support” happens all the time…but I only saw it now???

As most of you know, a lot of work is related to the realms of Emotional Intelligence and tapping into the Laws of Attraction…..but hey, this incident has really made me a firm believer about forces beyond my senses......(Ah yes, my Samuel L Jackson ‘moment’  in Pulp Fiction). I hope I seize this moment to go deeper.

Among other things, this prompts me to call my Coach Vikram Bhatt who is leading some exciting work in ‘intuitive’ coaching…….

    These kinds of 'coincidences'—in a small way—have happened to me too, in fact, more often in the recent past than earlier. I suddenly recall snippets of conversations, half-read bits of information and these come in very useful to sort out problems.

    Thank you Sanjay for sharing this wonderful narrative. It reminded me of this one time when I had unknowingly dropped my phone in the security scan machine and the moment I was about to walk away from it, a very close friend of mine called me. And so, I heard the ringtone and traced it back to the machine, I knew that we are connected and one... all of us. Much love and gratitude

    Sridhar and Charnita, Appreciate your sharing...Clearly this is an area that requires one to just believe....until a time, not in the distant future, when science will catch up and prove it empirically as well.

    Hi Sanjay, I have learnt to surrender to the greater forces shaping my destiny. I was retrenched from a job that I had passionately done for 24 years, with a business partner whom I considered family. I did not receive even a last month's salary so left with nothing but determination. I then started my own business. Had I retired just the year before I would have left with money, which is sorey needed, but not the strength of character that the fight to survive has inculcated in me. Now I trust that the universe sees the bigger picture and will guide me, despite myself!
